Dharmendra played Superman's biological father in the 1987 Bollywood film 'Superman,' a remake of the Hollywood hit. Though the movie wasn't a success, Dharmendra received acclaim for his role. The veteran actor was recently admitted to Breach Candy Hospital and placed on a ventilator.
